Assignment 1 challenged me to develop my own brand identity website elements, logo, banner and a cv. I began by crafting a basic logo that cleverly incorporates my initials "T" with an eye symbol, symbolizing vision and insight. For my website banner, I created a captivating composition featuring an illustration of my face, along with my logo and the eye symbol as prominent elements against a minimalist black and white background. This design choice emphasizes simplicity and sophistication, utilizing negative space and contrast to create visual interest. Additionally, I used the Badoga font to add a touch of creativity, minimalism, and elegance to my branding elements, ensuring they resonate with my personal brand identity. Through this assignment, I discovered the value of branding and design components in building my online presence. I learned the value of composition and symbolism via creating my logo and website banner, and choosing the Badoga typeface improved my knowledge of typography. Overall, I improved my design skills and gained a deeper appreciation for the role of branding in effectively communicating my identity to others.
